CareerBuilder: Job Search App Reviews

The app was great. It allow me to look and apply for jobs while sitting in my current crudy job

I like how the app works. But what CareerBuilder needs to do a better job with is weeding out the temp agencies. I dont enjoy applying for a job only to realize its yet another temp agency. If I had a way to exclude certain companies of my choosing that would help eliminate some of the headache. While temp agencies are not bad, Id rather contact them if I need it.

Ive always been a fan of CareerBuilder. The app just makes it that much better.

Very flexible and allows me to search for a job in my skill set

I really like some of the features in the app, such as the integration of maps, the "see who applied" function and the ability to swipe when view details. However, on an iPad when you edit a search the within ... Miles doesnt display, its just a blank space, but it will work if you take a guess at the toggle location. Thats a bug that should be fixed. I would also like to see not only searching by key word, but I think it would be great to have a dedicated field for job title and a dedicated field for skills. I feel like Im missing out on opportunities by clumping everything into the same field.

Quick apply makes finding a job so easy

(Using iPod air 2 with latest iOS). I cannot adjust the miles radius nor the the number of days job has been posted. Also, cant figure out how to edit the "all these words" field without deleting the entire current entry. I should be able to tap/hold the field then delete/insert/correct as needed.

This site is easy to navigate, consisting of thorough amounts of information for potential employment.

Excellent way to find and apply for jobs.

It would be nice if there was a way to narrow down job positions by category. Right now you can only search for specific keywords. I find indeed.com to be a better search option for local jobs.

It is so much easier using this app to job hunt.
